On the Shine 10 internet pay-per-view in May 2013, Kay defeated Nikki Roxx in a qualifying match for the Shine Championship tournament. When Kay interfered in the main event match against the ally Rain as well as Angelina Love, she was removed from the match by Lexie Fyfe and removed from the tournament. Kay was able to return at Shine 13 when she was paired with Ivelisse to defeat Amazing Kong and Jessicka havok.
