Linda Edna Cardellini is the daughter of Lorraine (Hernan), a mother, and Wayne David Cardellini (a father) and an entrepreneur. Her parents are of Italian (from her maternal grandpa), Irish (from her mother), German, English and Scottish origins. Linda was born in San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four kids. Her interest in acting began in the age of ten when she performed a singing role in a Christmas production at school. Her next stage was performing in school and community stage productions. Linda has graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. She had to choose from New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV when she finished her studies. LA was the best option for her. Linda was cast first as a part in Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her breakthrough role. Lindsay Weir was her character in the Emmy-winning series.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James is an English actor. She trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London before launching her acting career with the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the leading role in Cinderella which was a film about fantasy. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James then portrayed the Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the adaptation of War & Peace (2016). Also, she appeared in several films, such as Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday 2019 We Go again (2018) and Yesterday and Yesterday in 2019. The portrayal she gave of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 was recognized with Golden Globes as well as the Primetime Emmy Awards.
