Najarra Townsend

Najarra knew what she wanted to do in life at the age of was just three years old. Najarra began modeling, and later taking part in local stage shows, continuing to be deeply involved in both theater and musicals through her early as well as her teenage years. In her twenties, she made her film debut with co-stars in the movie "Menace". Najarra is internationally acclaimed by her performance in "Me and You and Everybody We Know" that won Sundance and Cannes Awards in 2005. The film featured her as the titular character in various films including "Tru In Love" and 'Marin Blue", and "Betty I am". The public was able to witness a fresh side of the actress's youthful self on"Contracted," which was an IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted".
