Najarra Townsend

Najarra was just three years old when she was able to pinpoint what she wanted in life. In her early childhood, she began modeling along with doing shows on local stages. She continued to participate in musicals and theater throughout the rest of her teens. In the film "Menace" she was co-starring when she was ten years old. Najarra's performance on the Sundance as well as the Cannes award winning "Me and You as Well As Everyone We know" was a hit in 2005 and drew global attention. The actress played the lead role in several films, including "Tru Loved" as well as 'Marin blue", and "Betty I am". In 2014, audiences got to see a new side of the young actress on the IFC Midnight horror hit "Contracted". Najarra wants in her commitment to the things she enjoys and inspires her.
